hurricane blog

hurricane blogCNN is bragging that one of their correspodants is maintaining a hurricane blog. Do they not understand that it’s not really a blog without a feed of some sort? It’s really just a glorified news article.

In this instance, I do appreciate the intent. My thoughts and prayers are with those who are in Katrina’s way tonight and tomorrow — whether they are there by choice or not.

  • We’re on the same wave length on this. That is not a blog.

  • i always laugh when channels like cnn try to tap into the “blogger underground”. what makes blogs special is that they are just people saying what they see, feel, think, etc. It’s all free from ad space and physical appearance and cheezy graphics. they just end up looking more foolish for trying to even cover what’s going on in the “blogosphere” or doing a blog themselves. good call john. i just hope the hurricane damaged miles’ laptop, but not miles himself.
