My heart goes out to you. Your enthusiasm about the iPhone was evident last January. In light of that, I would imagine you are disappointed about the general lack of interest that has surrounded the iPhone’s release.
If it can be of any comfort to you, I’m pretty excited about the iPhone. I think it looks like a great product. I’d hate to see it quickly fade out from the marketplace as a result of the lukewarm response.
Here’s the thing. I’m quite the Apple evangelist. In the last year, I’ve had a hand in at least eight people switching over. (And if you allow me to count my son who is still swimming in amniotic fluid, we can make it 9.) In about the same time, I’ve been instrumental in at least 12 purchases of Apple computers.
Seriously…let’s not give up on the iPhone. I think I can help you with a guerilla word of mouth marketing campaign. It’s worth a shot. The thing is, it’s just not gonna fit in our budget right now. That’s a bit of an obstacle that keeps me from really helping sell the product. How about you send me one and I’ll see what I can do about giving the iPhone hype the shot in the arm it deserves?
